The Nigeria Professional Wrestling Federation (NPWF) is set for a showdown of the titans and Wrestling Seminar as part of her youth empowerment initiatives.

The proposed fight, which is billed up for Sunday, the 28th day of September, 2025 by 2pm at Alex Ekweme Square Hall, Akwa, Anambra State between Victor Ebenezer Idorenyin popularly known as POWER VIC of Akwa Ibom and Enugu State born super star, Mr. Agbo Chinedu, also known as Misterio 619 for a National Light Heavyweight Championship Title.

Christened, National Peace And Unity Wrestling Championship will be in commemoration of 44th anniversary celebrations of Prof. Charles Soludo International Pro Wrestling Championship tagged, Solution 2025.

In a similar vein, the Federation has concretized arrangement with international wrestling stars and trainers in United Kingdom and the United States of America for the Youth Empowerment through Professional Wrestling Seminar as 105 youths from the 21 Local Government Areas in Anambra State (5 from each local government) have been selected already for the seminar on the following areas: On professional wrestling styles and gimmicks; Character Development & Storytelling; Physical Conditioning and Health; In-Ring Skills and Psychology; Wrestling Business Knowledge; International Cultural Adaptability for the wrestlers and Training in professional wrestling promotions and management for officials.

Speaking with a Nigerian born, Uk-based former international wrestler and the Chief Training Officer of Rivals Wrestling. Glasgow, Scotland, Mr. Martins Ubaha on phone confirmed that the Nigeria Professional Wrestling Federation (NPWF) has invited them for the events, “Mr. Frankie Mooney and I have been invited for the above outing and my strategy is to use this in helping young and talented Nigerians come over to UK for their professional trainings on wrestling. Nigerian government and indeed, States and local government areas can take advantage of our visit to Nigeria by selecting and sponsoring young stars for professional training in Scotland. We have so far trained numerous men and women who are now stars and key players in the industry and Nigerians can also key in to it”.

Also speaking to Journalists in Lagos State, Nigeria, one of the major contenders, Victor Ebenezer Idorenyin popularly known as POWER VIC of Akwa Ibom said that he will crush his opponent, misterio 619 within the first ten minutes of the fight, “my opponent is like a soft wood in my hand and I will defeat him in less than ten minutes. I was trained in the Unted Kingdom, I won the Delta State Title few years back effortlessly; I fought in Ghana and other African countries and in every fight, I always won. Who is Misterio 619?”, POWER VIC queried.
