The National Executive of Eyewitness Network (EWN), led by its National Director, EXlibris Christopher Ekefre, on Wednesday paid a courtesy visit to the Director-General of the Tinubu Support Group (TSG), Dr Umar Tanko Yakasai in Abuja, where both organisations reaffirmed their commitment to advancing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Welcoming the delegation, Dr. Yakasai commended Eyewitness Network for its vision, patriotism and commitment to promoting national development. He said the ideals expressed by the organisation were consistent with those of the Tinubu Support Group, noting that history has shown that great leaders are often misunderstood before they are eventually celebrated.

According to him, President Tinubu’s bold reforms are designed to secure Nigeria’s long-term prosperity, adding that the full benefits of courageous leadership may not be immediately evident but would be appreciated over time. He urged Nigerians to remain committed to whatever they do and contribute positively to national development.

The TSG Director-General also applauded Eyewitness Network for publishing books and promoting informed national discourse without financial inducement, describing the initiative as a demonstration of genuine patriotism. He assured the delegation of his willingness to partner with the organisation and pledged his full support.

Dr. Yakasai further urged members of the Eyewitness Network to intensify grassroots mobilisation in support of the Tinubu administration, stressing that continuity in governance would promote national stability, sustainable development, accelerated economic growth and lasting progress.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the National Director of Eyewitness Network, Exlibris Christopher Ekefre, reaffirmed the organisation’s unwavering support for President Tinubu and pledged to strengthen grassroots mobilisation in support of the Renewed Hope Agenda ahead of the 2027 general election.

Ekefre disclosed that the Network has established structures across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory, adding that it remains committed to enlightening Nigerians, countering misinformation with verified facts, promoting national unity and supporting policies that would advance Nigeria’s development.

He also pledged that Eyewitness Network would mobilise nationwide support for President Tinubu’s second-term bid and announced that the organisation would support the Tinubu Support Group’s weekly Friday activities by providing refreshments as part of the growing collaboration between the two organisations.

The visit ended with both organisations expressing confidence that closer collaboration would strengthen support for the Renewed Hope Agenda and contribute significantly to Nigeria’s peace, unity, and sustainable national development.

The meeting was attended by members of the National Executive of Eyewitness Network, officials of its Abuja chapter and the management of the Tinubu Support Group.
