COPDEM Akwa Ibom State Mobilizes For Voters Registration
…Set up 20 Person Per Pulling Unit

The Coalition for the Protection of Democracy (COPDEM), Akwa Ibom State Chapter has concluded plans to appoint no fewer than 20 person per pulling unit ahead of the 2027 general elections.
This arrangement was concretized last weekend during the key stakeholders meeting comprises the 31 local government chapters with the state exco of the body. The meeting, which was presided over by the State chairman of COPDEM, Elder Iniubong Jack, flanked by the Political Leader of the State, Captain Augustine Okon; leader Eket Senatorial District, Prof Des Wilson; State Publicity Secretary, Dr Saviour Ekpe; Eket Senatorial Chairman, Engr Kufre Simeon; State Financial Secretary: Gideon Joseph; State Youth leader, Mr. Camilus Ita Okon resolved that all chapters should immediately mobilize ward executive members to set up a-20-man unit leaders for the actualization of the COPDEM/ADC dream.
The leadership of COPDEM also directed its members to set up mechanism to mobilize for voters registration across the 31 LGAs with a promise to support LGAs to achieve it, “as you all know that this race is not for armed chair leaders, all hands must be on deck to ensure good success, by so doing, the state COPDEM will support the LGAs for the actualization of the voters registration exercise within our ability. By this, we want to make sure that we get people registered at the ongoing INEC registration. Tell the people to use the following INEC link for the online registration using their phone”.
COPDEM also resolved to support members who may wish to aspire for any political position come 2027.
