Staff Celebrates Accountant General On His Birthday

Amidst pomp and pageantry, staff of the office of the Accountant General of Akwa Ibom State on the 9th of February, 2026, rolled out the drums to celebrate their boss, Pastor Uwem Andrew-Essien during the Monday prayer meeting of the Office. The celebration featured special prayers, goodwill messages and glowing encomiums that highlited the Accountant General’s examplary leadership style.

Responding, the elated Accountant General, Pastor Uwem Andrew-Essien expressed gratitude to management and staff for their show of love, describing the celebration as humbling and encouraging.

The AG thanked the workforce for their cooperation and prayers, noting that the success recorded in the office was a collective effort anchored on team work.

High point of the event was the cutting  of birthday cake by the celebrator, who later posed for a photo with management.
